Joining the Dwelling Place
We are excited to welcome new family members to the Dwelling Place of DFW. It is our heart to help each of our members reach their destiny in Christ Jesus and be a fully committed citizen of the Kingdom. To ensure that we are all part of a unified body, we ask that you follow these 5 Steps to Joining and complete the New Members Class. We look forward to advancing the Kingdom together.
5 Steps to Joining
Step One:
Accept God's gift of salvation and be converted by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus' death and resurrection as a payment for your sin.
Step Two:
You must submit yourself to water baptism by total immersion, protraying your death to sin and self and your resurrection to a new life in Jesus.
Step Three:
You will need to pick up a member packet from the product counter in the back of the Worship Center. In the packet you will find a membership application and an interest profile. These need to be filled out and returned to the church office.
Step Four:
You need to attend the next scheduled New Members Orientation Class. The schedule can be found in the weekly Sunday bulletin, or you may call the church office.
Step Five:
Upon completion of the New Members Class, the elders will approve you for membership and you will be presented to the church body on a Sunday morning.

Everyone who desires to be a member of TDP must attend and complete this six week class.
